  3. I got a call for PhD with B-Level + PGDBA from NIT, Durgapur and IIT Kharagpur. IIMs accept B-Level for PhD. I have mails from them as evidences. Furthermore, B-Level is accepted by AMU + AIMA for Phd in Business Administration. You can sit for GATE, UGC-NET and CSIR UGC-NET. If B-Level is not recognized as MCA, how am I getting these calls?

    1. Qualified UGC NET, but they didn't give certificate saying B level is not recognized as a degree course by Indian universities. Qualified GATE with very good rank and score, BITS Pilani didn't give admit for entrance, Jadavpur University didn't shortlist. Don't know about NITs, bcs didn't apply for CCMT. But after an exhaustive search found out that DOEACC B level is not a professional level course such as AMIE or IETE etc which are allowed for higher studies in some NITs, most IITs, state universities etc. The only options remain for us are ISI, one or two old IITs and IIIT Hyderabad(acc to doeacc website). But as you are guessing these require excellence in math, <100 rank in GATE, proficiency in Alg + DS and lots of money --- respectively. You may get entry level IT jobs but for higher studies like MTech, as of now, we are DOOMED.

  4. Tirthankar I don't know how U are getting calls but I have got written document from UGC-NET that B Level is not MCA equivalent so they disqualify DOEACC B Leve if he/she managed to passed UGC net. But UGC net allows everyone to site in exam just to collect money. Look at follwoing link https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/1148929_3296218301465_1163792166_n.jpg
